This lot is produced by the esteemed producer Mate Matiwos in his farm.
Mate Matiwos was born in Keramo into a family involved in the coffee trade, and started his own coffee path quite early as he leased land for coffee farming in Keramo and Danche.
He kept on pursuing coffee farming and his hard work is evident as he landed a 2nd place in the 2024 Ethiopian Cup of Excellence last year.
His farm and washing station are an incredible 2300 masl over sea level surrounded by some spectacular views.
This is our second lot of Mate Matiwos as we became captivated by the distinct character of his coffees, that is probably enhanced by the plot where it is cultivated in.
His dedication is felt in the final cup and we are delighted to share this one with you.
